Happy July! (photo heavy)

Happy July!! We just finished celebrating a wonderful Canada Day on the 1st and are now enjoying some family time together for the next few days.

Scrapbook Star's July Kit is now available and it was oh so fun to work with!! Here is my dd on her birthday just recently. Love the photo perspective and wanted to keep the entire layout soft and dainty so lots of fussy cutting going on here.

I thought I'd mix things up a little. Normally I post scrapbook stuff and scrapbook stuff only! I thought I'd throw in a few personal photos here and there, every once in a while. Let me know if you totally hate it...

Here we are at our annual Canada Day parade on July 1st. DD with her first lollipop... The way she devoured that thing, it won't be her last!! She LOVED it! (well, duh....)
After the parade we headed into town for the children's festival. My kids don't normally eat sweets (although you'd never know on this day - LOL) and hadn't ever tried cotton candy so we thought - why not. My oldest son examined it and took a little lick first and said "this kinda tastes like fur." um... ok.... like REALLY, SWEET, FUR maybe (never heard that one before)!
