View from our room. 8th floor at the Royal Lahaina Resort - beautiful place and right on Kaanapali Beach - the cleanest, most gorgeous beach I have ever been on. Not a single rock or shell - just beautiful, soft sand and it was surprisingly uncrowded (at least it was where we were...) 
Some very cool shops and restaurants in the little town of Lahaina. Look at the size of those jaws!! Didn't see any sharks in 'real life' but this vision in the water behind me kept me close to shore! 
At the luau - super amazing show.

SO ADORABLE!!! My heart was in my throat the entire night at the luau. This elderly couple was just so DAMN SWEET!! They wore matching outfits and held hands the whole night. I couldn't resist taking their photo. I soooo hope this is what my husband and I look like 50 years from now. True love - how amazing!

Seriously, in the 9 days we were there, we had only a half day of 'showers', yet saw rainbows almost on a daily basis. SO gorgeous!
Every night at the hotel restaurant we'd get a beautiful dance and song performance - so amazing.

This little (not really) fella decided to pull up on the beach one day for a nap! They had to rope the area off so that tourists didn't try to 'pet' him. (um, ya think!?)
