Design Team Challenge

Well, I think I must have applied for 3 or 4 design teams last week and have madly been trying to submit my work. In addition, I have taken it upon myself to attempt a few blog challenges here and there (no biggie you say - but with 3 kids under the age of 5, finding more than 30 consecutive minutes to scrap is a true feat!). Unfortunately, I did not make at least one of these teams. (sniff) Must not get discouraged! Onwards and upwards! One of the other companies I am interested in, requires their applicants to "think up your own unique challenge and create a 12x12 layout based on that challenge".

The challenge I proposed for this design team was to make your layout's dominant colours black and white. I did a TON of cutout work on this! There is also a hidden pull-tab that reads: There's about 10 loads of laundry waiting to be done, the house needs vaccuming, my scrapbook page is calling, my hair is dirty and I REALLY need a shower, I should be at the gym, your sister's diaper needs changing, your brother's hands need wiping, dinner STILL isn't ready... but I'm right where I belong.
