Here's also a quick card I created featuring some gorgeous new crystals from ZVA Creative (CRS03CB117)! The papers are from Bo Bunny's Whoo-ligans Collection.
That's all for now everyone. Have a safe and happy night tonight! BRING ON THE CANDY!

Here's also a quick card I created featuring some gorgeous new crystals from ZVA Creative (CRS03CB117)! The papers are from Bo Bunny's Whoo-ligans Collection.

I love this saying. In times of stress, sickness, whatever - I find it reassuring to repeat these words over and over to myself. You cannot change/control outside events. You can control how you deal with what's been given to you. It's much easier said than done...
I handmade all the flowers on this layout and ended up painting the chipboard swirls and cardstock for a softer, overall feel.

The gorgeous crystal flourishes and perfect pink rose blossoms are by ZVA Creative. The Bo Bunny papers used in all three of these projects are all from their Persuasion Collection.

In my first layout I inked the papers and blended blue and yellow together so in some areas a lovely green is apparant. For my background paper I created my own postage stamp by using my mini circle punch (Stampin' Up!) and only trimming half the circle all the way around. Ink it up a little and you've just created your very own die cut -very easy!

I added a doily to this kit and sprayed lightly with some terra cotta walnut ink.
This layout features My Mind's Eye Lost & Found, Portobello Road Collection. LOVE this sooooo much - totally my style. Shabby, chic, rustic - just love the worn feel to this entire line.
I love dimension on my projects. Crochet doilies, layering papers, folding papers - whatever I can do to get away from a 'flat' looking layout. For this project, I simply rolled the papers slightly to create some deapth. This is an especially good technique if you have fantastic double sided papers where you want to show off the underside pattern.
I added my own wooden flourishes to the kit - they are from KaiserCraft and I felt that they just flowed so well with the overall feel of the project. I even kept the bottom 'label' from the patterned paper and used as an embellishment!
Here's another 'tag' - really the paper's label at the bottom. Loved the look and just couldn't bring myself to throwing it away.
Here's a super fancy card (for me)! Talk about stacked with product eh? Couldn't stop myself - LOL!! The papers are soooo elegant and the bling and blooms accented the piece perfectly.

Here's another card I created with Pink Paislee's Parisian Papers. To be honest, I 'wrecked' the first piece of paper I started with! I wasn't sure how the papers would respond to misting vs. inking vs. whatever, so I kind of experimented with it all and ended up with more of a solid looking page than a patterned paper. I don't do cardstock very well so I ended up turning it into a card...
Again you can see the dimension I added simply by layering my balloon tag over top of a fan flower.
The project I'd like to share with you today combines ZVA's gorgeous rose blossoms with their delicate pearl flourishes. LOVE the softness of these embellishments!
I used some of my famous crochet doilies for the page as well to help bring in the 'white' tones to the otherwise cooler blue and black shades. The papers are from Bo Bunny's Whoo-ligans collection.
The music paper was sourced from my local thrift store. Thrift stores are fantastic for finding 'treasures' to use in your craft projects. This music book was $1.00 and there are several hundred pages that can be distressed (as I have done), inked, altered, etc.
The flourish is one of the new releases from ZVA and includes a butterfly at the top of the embellishment. For my page, I found that using the flourish upside down worked better. I cut the butterfly wings and used in the centre of my leaves.

Ohhh I see some Bo Bunny Winter Joy papers, cardstock stickers and Epoxy Brads, some ZVA Creative felt flowers...
OOOOOHHH Petaloo flowers and their new Dazzlers!
Brand new ZVA Creative flourishes - yummo!
Good luck ladies! Enjoy your Sunday!

For now, I'd like to share a layout that I created for ZVA Creative. Their gorgeous new releases are just crazy beautiful!! The colours in this crystal flourish are a deep orange/rust mixed with chocolate brown - SOOOOO rich!!
I paired with Bo Bunny's Cambridge Collection which I adore!! The normally grungy, masculine papers are easy to transform with a little lace, doilies, bling and blooms. Don't shy away from typical themey papers - just alter them to suit your needs!
ZVA Creative's beautiful rose blossoms were the perfect accent for this layout. Love the new colours - any colour you can possibly think of they have in four sizes of gorgeous roses.

Here is the fantastic sketch we got to work with - provided by Sketch Inspiration.
My take on the sketch. I 'jazzed' it up a titch eh? I don't do clean and simple very well - but as you can see, most of the elements from the sketch are on my layout.
LOVE these stickers! Yes, these are actually Cardstock stickers that I cut out from a tag and when I applied to my project I couldn't believe how 'real' they looked! The epoxy brad and string bow are even part of the sticker.
